Event of the Year

Training Camp !

It's the most anticipated event of the year. Some of our students eagerly await this weekend 12 months ahead of time.

I don't know which one is better getting to tell your fellow students I DID IT! or proving to yourself you had what it took to make it through the experience, crystallizing the feeling of personal accomplishment and bringing it to an all time high.

At the end of the camp most students can't believe all the things they've done over the course of 3 short days.

The energy you acquire from being a part of something like this is quite amazing.

You can use the camp to follow through on goals you've slacked off on, or during the many personal development drills we cover during the camp you can discover a new calling, change your career, find out if you're really doing what you love as far as your job goes and are you happy with the choices you've made in your life.

The camp touches so many aspects of your life, not just the mental/internal but the physical as well.

The camp has a way to help you find that inner strength that resides in all of us, just when you think of giving up, something inside you says: "Not yet, just a little more"

What could YOU do with a little more discipline and a never give up kind of attitude?

I'm thinking a whole lot.

Perfect health.

Strong body and mind.

Walking the path of Mastery.

Never settling for second best.

Absolutely no fear of failure.

Living a life of meaning and fulfillment.

And that's just the beginning.

The event I'm talking about is starting tomorrow at 6:30 pm.

If you're ready and motivated to acquire some of the things I've been telling you about, you can do so here.

This event happens only once a year, do not miss out.

Master Yourself,

Sibok M

P.S Once you register you'll get an immediate e-mail with all the pertinent details of the camp.

Kids Summer Camp

We had a blast!

If your child was one of the lucky participants of this year's camp
I'm sure they came home with lots of stories and experiences they'll never forget.

Our camp isn't like all the other summer camps being offered at this time of year.

Some summer camps are like just another day at the daycare but when you make it out to our specialized training facility on 16 acres and the kids discover our hidden courses to build balance and team work as well as confidence and facing a fear of heights for example, the look on their face after they've completed it is priceless.

Step by step they realize they can accomplish anything they set out to do as long as they stay focused, are willing to act in spite of fear, making them understand that sometimes losing is learning, being confident and outspoken makes for better life experiences and chances to make new friends.

This is exactly the kind of environment the kids need during the summer.

A chance to have fun, meet new people, learn and enhance their kung-fu skills, stay in shape, and have their imagination and creativity stimulated so that every child can grow up strong, with high self-esteem, with a desire to accomplish great things.

I wish I went to a camp like ours when I was a kid, yours have that chance, mark your calendar for next July and I'll make sure to keep you posted about future kids camps (make sure you're signed on for my daily tips so you can get all the details.)

Optimist Club Celebration in Casselman

Being part of our community is very important to us.

Here's Sifu Silvain, Sifu Patrick and myself (not pictured here) leading some kids through some drills to increase listening and concentration skills at a recent Optimist Club Clebration Day in Casselman.

The Optimist Club in Casselman is also celebrating 30 years this year.

30 years of helping kids and families in general come together for the greater good of the community.

Both of our organizations share the same goals which is why we quickly accepted their invitation to offer some martial art training at their event.

Taking the time to teach kids and their parents the wonders of martial art training was an eye opening experience for most of the parents watching.

It is impressive to see your kids stand at attention with perfect focus.

Seeing them strengthen their bodies with simple calisthenics.

Or getting them to increase motors skills and body awareness with fun drills that help build confidence.

I had a chance to meet an old Teacher of mine from High School. As we were talking we got into the subject of parent - child relationships and couldn't help notice the disconnect we see today.

Both parents working, kids being raised by the day care, quality time is reserved for Sundays at best.

It's hard to change this situation I know, most parents don't have a choice but they do have a choice as to where they bring their child for guidance and leadership.

Sports are great but greater is an activity where the child learns important life skills and where the main focus is on personal development.

No wonder our Martial Art program is so popular, when you walk into the school or when you hear the instructors teach, it's very sincere.

When I'm working with a group of kids I teach them as If they were my own. I want all of them to become strong, independent, confident, happy individuals.

Our Summer Camp for Kids is just around the corner. Many camps are offered during this time of year but few have the facilities and set-up that we have at our private training center in Casselman.

If you're a member or non-member and wish to have your child participate this year, visit the link below for the location near you, call them or e-mail your request to participate.

Kids Summer Camp 2008

One more successful Summer Camp for Kids.

The best part for me is seeing a child that fears a drill or activity then seeing them succeed and complete it with a new found confidence that they can do anything they set their minds to.

During the camp we have a very strong focus on team building.

Being able to communicate and work together is a crucial skill they all need to learn when they become adults.

They also learn to trust each other and themselves in many trust building exercises.

If your kids ever have a chance to attend one of our camps you'll see that it's not like other summer camps being offered in your area, you won't see us wasting time with arts and crafts (although fun, they can do that at home) or being a glorified baby sitting service and doing other activities that don't really challenge your child to grow on a physical and emotional level while acquiring new skills.

We're very serious about offering a unique experience that your kids have never felt before.
If you're tired of having your kids come back from camp disappointed check out our Super Summer Camp next year.

Kids Summer Camps

If you're like most parents you want your kids to have fun and learn important life skills at a Summer Camp.

But which one, there's so many of them?

Have them try something unique, a Martial Art Summer Camp but not just any Martial Art camp, a "Patenaude Kung-Fu Camp open to all 6 to 13 year olds".

What's the difference you might ask?

Let me explain.

On the last day of our camp, we always ask kids: "If you had to compare our Kung-Fu Camp with others you've done elsewhere in the past, how different was it?"

The response is over-whelming. The kids get really involved and aren't afraid to give their opinion:

"I never done anything like this before"
"All we did was sit, paint and draw all day"
"We weren't allowed to run, I guess they were right, we had no space, they called it a camp but we stayed inside most of the time"
"Nothing we did ever challenged me"

And when we hear comments like these coming from 6 year olds and 11 year olds we really get inspired and motivated to keep on offering our camp every single year.

The problem.

Most people don't know about us. They don't know that a facility like ours exist right here in Canada. Casselman, Ontario to be exact.

Check out the specs:

16 acres of land and forest.

A training facility that can accomodate 100 kids no problem.

A Super-Secure Aerial Park.

(Certified by the biggest aerial park installors responsable for most parks in Tremblant, St-Sauveur, Caverne Lafleche, we're actually good friends with the owner) with 35 stations suspended right in the air in the middle of the forest.

Testing their balance, fear of heights, motor skills and Confidence.

A park we're expanding every single year.

A Confidence Course (Military Style) composed of Climbing Walls, Balance Logs, Monkey Bars, the works.
A vast knowledge of Martial Arts with over 200 different drills they go through to increase Focus, Confidence, Flexibility, Strength, Anti-Bully Tactics, and Self Protection.

A 35 x 35 Pool.

A Fullly Functional Cafeteria.

Personal Development Workshops specialized in helping kids develop their Self-Esteem, Attitude, Respect, Discipline and Leadership Skills.

We've been to camps ourselves and boy do we wish we had gone to a camp like this one when we were young.

A good summer camp experience or a bad one for that matter, lasts a life time.

So please before making a decision on where to go next year, I strongly urge you to compare our camp with others you might be considering.

We hope you will discover us in the near future and really give your kids an unforgettable summer camp experience.

Next camp dates are June 26 & 27, 2008.

Click here to register your child. Include name and phone number where you can be reached.

See you at camp.

Sifu Martin
