Spring Cleaning benefits

We never thought it would happen but it did.

On top of that, there was only 2 weeks left to spring.

It had been there for over 20 years and last night we burned it.

When the roof of one of our garages collapsed in March under the pressure of the snow, we were shocked to find most of our heavy machinery and four-wheelers trapped under it and seemingly totalled.

Once the snow was fully melted and the ground dry enough we got to work this weekend cleaning and getting all of our stuff out of there.

To our surprise most of what was in there didn't take that much damage.

The fire was piled high and no scrap of wood was safe. We burned EVERYTHING.

It was quite rejuvenating and it felt like a weight was taken off of our shoulders.

Just like you probably felt if you did any kind of spring cleaning this year.

It's important to "remove messes" from your life. Once the mess is cleared and cleaned it clears the way and attracts more energy, opportunities and brings about much clarity.

Such is customary with our Fang Shen Do system.

If you trained with us or was still training 20, 10, 5, 1 year ago the system is always evolving.

Everything we do is revised on a constant basis, to make sure you get the very best training when it comes to strength and endurance work, martial arts and personal development.

A martial art system should be like you, always growing and learning.

There's always a better, faster way to do anything and we are commited to continue to bring you cutting edge, tested training techniques to get you results in the shortest time.

Come see what's been cooking in the FSD Kitchen. If you aren't a student yet take advantage of our free 30-day VIP Pass.

What's happening to me?

Today I got up, got dressed and dropped on the floor for some push-ups.

I couldn't do more than 5!

So I decided to do some squats instead. My total Max Reps = 10.

I felt drowsy and lethargic. So I walked downstairs to the kitchen.

I poured myself a cup of coffee and listened to the news before I chowed down a boston cream and a big bowl of Fruit Loops.

I had a whole bunch of orders to complete but I said it can wait to tomorrow, no one's in a rush.

I really started asking myself if training was really good for me. If I really needed it.

I think it would be best if I just took a break from it all.

Helping people acquire more speed, power and confidence just doesn't get me all excited anymore.

Seeing someone lose 30 pounds because of our training methods and double their flexibility isn't enough to convince me that we're the real deal.

Maybe because of those same 5 guys criticizing us on different martial art forums, we should close all of our schools and take up Banjo lessons.

Or maybe even....

APRIL FOOL'S!!!!

There's no need to worry, we stand behind our training and products 100%.

My goal is to help you achieve any goals you feel are worth while.

Whether it's strength training, flexibility, weapon training, body mastery, focus, or confidence. Me and our team are ready to do everything it takes to make sure you acquire those.

All of our products are on sale with free shipping before we launch our new website.

Watch for it in the coming days.

Getting the highest return on investment

I can't help but notice alot of things around us are "hyped up" as valuable but in reality they are not.

There's a french saying: "Tout ce qui brille n'est pas or"

Translated: "Just because it shines it doesn't mean it's gold"

Have you ever made that observation?

For example: Movies

You see the preview, looks awesome. You see it, it sucks!

Or you go to a fancy restaurant and the food is disgusting.

You buy a high end car and the dealer tells you it'll hold it's value over time. When you go to re sell it it lost 75 % of it's value.

And let's not forget Trips.

You plan this exotic trip for months, you go there and the weather is crappy. You lie to your friends saying it was great.

You've spent thousands of dollars to relax but end up being more tired and stressed out compared to before you left. All you have to show for it in the end are a few pictures and vague memories of it.

Ugh !

I'd rather invest in guaranteed returns on investment.

Not once have I felt those feelings of disappointment when I complete a training.

Not ever!

Nothing comes close to it.

The feeling you have when you breathe in deeply. Feeling the sweat on your brow. Listening to your heart beat when you're cooling down.

The feeling of accomplishment and reward you have after you've completed your workout.

Be wise to invest inside of you not on the outside.

To see what I mean go here to start your training, invest in YOU, the feeling and return you'll get from training regularly will cast a shadow over any attempt from different companies trying to make you think there is great value in what THEY are selling.

No hype, just an awesome feeling,

Sifu Martin

Resting and Sleeping makes you stronger?

Sunday should be for resting, recharging and stepping away from what you usually do during the week so you can come back to it stronger and more commited.

If you want longevity in anything, you have to follow this law.

You can compare over-training to sitting too close to a fire. Soon you'll be blinded by the light and you'll need to step away from it for awhile until you can come back to it.

What I'm saying is you need time to relax, recover, sleep, clear your thoughts and make yourself miss your training. By not training you strengthen your desire to train and makes you appreciate it even more when you do.

Today that's exactly what I'm doing.

I don't play video games but today my little brother had me play Rock Band on the Xbox. He has the whole set up with the guitar, the mic, and the drums.

We had a blast.

When I step away from my training I still like to improve a physically valuable skill. So he got me to play the drums, it was a great test of coordination and timing.

On another Sunday it might be swimming, snow-boarding, or hiking.

I think this a secret to sticking with your core activity for a life time. Training for over 20 years now, I still feel as excited about strength training today as I did the first time my dad showed me how to do it.

Here's the problem, most people don't have a core activity. An activity that will make everything you do better. There is such an activity. Nothing comes close to what you'll learn in our strength training kits. Try them out here.

Recharge yourself,

Are you driving with a flat tire?

There's nothing I hate more than a flat tire. I'm up to 5 in the past year. Yes 5!

This morning I jump in my car ready to head out to Montreal like I usually do. I feel the car is pulling to the left and running pretty rough.

Lucky for me I wasn't too far from home and turned back to discover the problem.

You quickly realize you just can't drive with a flat.
It got me thinking (That's a good thing)

Are YOU going through life with your own kind of Flat?

You might have an emotional flat. A physical flat. A financial flat. Something, stopping you from getting from point A to point B.

In almost all cases you create the Flat.

It might be you making excuses not to train. It might be you procrastinating before starting your fitness training routine.
It might be you purposely sabotaging your results by over-indulging and getting side tracked from your healthy eating habits.
Dealing with those issues are easy when you have a plan mapped out. A vision for yourself if you will.
You need the highest quality map to get you on your way and it comes free when you order our FSD Training Guide.

Get it here.

Master Yourself,

Sifu Martin

P.S. There's a saying I like from Helen Keller: "It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision".

Results in 1 minute. Really?

There are 3 reasons for choosing 1 minute exercises.

I agree 1 minute is pretty short but when you follow a proven system like ours you quickly realize 1 minute at a time is more than enough.

Your goal in each exercise is to give your maximum output, no pacing, no breaks.

You have to go all out and sustain a peak intensity level.

When starting out, If each station would be 5 minutes you would have a hard time keeping your form in check.

The first reason is: "Immaculate Technique".

Each exercise is designed to help you carve and strengthen a specific muscle group or groups of muscles.

Everyone can do Tigers for example. But if you're bending your knees, not touching the floor with your forehead, failing to keep your feet up against the wall you're robbing yourself of results.

Same thing with Leg-Ins. If your feet always touch the floor, you lean back too far, or you fail to exhale on every knee pull-in, you're not keeping perfect technique.

So as a gage, training 1 minute allows you to be intense and dynamic while maintaining perfect form.

When you are able to do that consistently with each exercise you're ready to either add stations or step-up to 2 minute stations.

While strength training, pay attention to these 2 key factors: level of Intensity, and level of technical prowess.

When starting you should choose 10 exercises.

Stick to those for 4 weeks. Never changing the order of them.

Every time you complete a circuit on any given day, record your stats.

Focus on beating those numbers every time. When you see and feel an increase in your endurance level, change the order of those 10 exercises.

Still not enough? Add more exercises and repeat the process until you can complete the basic kit (50 Exercises).

It should never get EASY, since you're always giving maximum intensity coupled with perfect technique.

If it does (get easy), you need to re-visit those 2 key factors: Intensity and Technique.

For a quick reference of strength training exercises pick up our Basic Station Kit which comes with our Strength Training Workbook.

Aim Higher,

Sifu Martin
